  3. Residents come to the world from over 100 countries with concentrations in North America and the UK.
  4. It has grown explosively and today is inhabited by millions of Residents from around the globe.
  5. Demographically, 60% are men, 40% are women and they span in age from 18 - 85.

  1. The Second Life Grid provides a powerful platform for interactive experiences that bring a new dimension to learning.
  2. The Second Life Grid platform is already being used by hundreds of leading universities and school systems.
  3. Institutions such as Harvard University, Texas State University and Stanford University have all set up virtual campuses where students can meet, attend classes and create content together.
  4. Educational institutions can use the Second Life Grid to create a safe environment to enhance experiential learning.
