Application Support--Co-op Part-Time
Position Summary
In the Application Support role you will assist the development team
with projects, de-bugging production, documentation and application
support.
In this role you will gain a great deal of experience from
troubleshooting to implementation.
You will also have some exposure to database and business systems
analyst work.
Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service skills. Ability to work 25-35 hours per week.
Current Junior or Senior majoring in Computer Science or CIS.

Position Summary

focused candidates to become part of our Service Desk team. Our Service
Desk Specialists get the opportunity to work in a fast paced
environment across a variety of Koch companies and locations. Our
Specialists provide a superior level of customer service, while
learning more about the exciting field of IT.
-IT related customer requests via phone calls, emails, voice mails and
personal visits.
-All service and incident requests through Remedy ticketing system.
-Performs first responder responsibilities.
-Escalates all other incident types to appropriate parties.
-Gathers required information to ensure efficient transition to 2nd
level specialists, IT businesses, or Product owners.
-Manages the communication of service and incident request status to
the end user.
-Ensures service and incident requests are properly closed and
resolution details are documented.
Requirements
-One year experience in a customer service delivery environment
-Excellent customer service and phone skills
-Rational and organized approach to problem solving and performing
research. -Ability to work individually and part of a team.
-Working knowledge of MS Office -Strong customer focus and
communication skills.
-Two years experience in technician/customer support role -Two years
experience with Microsoft products
-Service Desk ACD phone experience -Experience with Remedy call
tracking tool, Altiris, Windows Vista, LAN/WAN networking, Active
Directory, MS Exchange, MX Office Products (2K+), Windows XP.
Education Requirements:
-HS Diploma
Preferred:
Associates degree in MIS/CIS field or equivalent work experience.
